Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, CYS1 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated CYS1 data layer compared with 19 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in colon adenocarcinoma (COAD), where higher CYS1 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated CYS1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
COAD, UCEC, and PRAD are the cancer types where CYS1 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
