Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, CYP51A1-AS1 RNA is linked to patient survival in 21 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated CYP51A1-AS1 data layer.

The strongest signal is observed in uterine carcinosarcoma (UCS), where higher CYP51A1-AS1 RNA is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated CYP51A1-AS1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCS and PAAD show a favorable association.

UCS, PAAD, and KIRC are the cancer types where CYP51A1-AS1 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
