Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, CYP4F62P RNA differs between tumor and matched normal tissue in 6 of 18 cancer types tested, making tumor–normal expression one of CYP4F62P’s most consistent transcriptional readouts.

The strongest signal is observed in breast invasive carcinoma (BRCA), where CYP4F62P RNA is more highly expressed in tumor relative to normal tissue. In most cancer types CYP4F62P is over-expressed in tumor, although a few such as LUAD show the opposite, repressed pattern.

BRCA, LUAD, and KICH are the cancer types where CYP4F62P tumor–normal differential expression is most reproducible.
