Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, CYP4A43P RNA is linked to patient survival in 11 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated CYP4A43P data layer.

The strongest signal is observed in skin cutaneous melanoma (SKCM), where higher CYP4A43P RNA is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated CYP4A43P expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as HNSC and ESCA show a favorable association.

SKCM, STAD, and LUSC are the cancer types where CYP4A43P RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
