Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, CYP4A22-AS1 RNA is linked to patient survival in 23 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated CYP4A22-AS1 data layer.

The strongest signal is observed in cervical squamous cell carcinoma and endocervical adenocarcinoma (CESC), where higher CYP4A22-AS1 RNA is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated CYP4A22-AS1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as READ and STAD show a favorable association.

CESC, LIHC, and THCA are the cancer types where CYP4A22-AS1 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
