Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, CYP2J2 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated CYP2J2 data layer compared with 19 for mass-spec protein and 5 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in esophageal carcinoma (ESCA), where higher CYP2J2 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated CYP2J2 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
ESCA, LUSC, and UCEC are the cancer types where CYP2J2 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
