Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, CYP2E1 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated CYP2E1 data layer compared with 22 for mass-spec protein and 2 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in cervical squamous cell carcinoma and endocervical adenocarcinoma (CESC), where higher CYP2E1 Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated CYP2E1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as OV and SKCM show a favorable association.
CESC, LUAD, and OV are the cancer types where CYP2E1 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
