Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, CYP2B6 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated CYP2B6 data layer compared with 14 for mass-spec protein and 1 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in liver hepatocellular carcinoma (LIHC), where higher CYP2B6 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated CYP2B6 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as SKCM show a favorable association.
LIHC, BRCA, and BLCA are the cancer types where CYP2B6 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
