Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, CYP21A1P RNA is linked to patient survival in 19 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated CYP21A1P data layer.

The strongest signal is observed in kidney renal clear cell carcinoma (KIRC), where higher CYP21A1P RNA is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated CYP21A1P expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as KIRP and SKCM show a favorable association.

KIRC, READ, and THCA are the cancer types where CYP21A1P RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
