Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, CYP1A1 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 9 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated CYP1A1 data layer compared with 23 for mass-spec protein.

The strongest signal is observed in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSC), where higher CYP1A1 Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated CYP1A1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC and STAD show a favorable association.

HNSC, UCEC, and SCLC are the cancer types where CYP1A1 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
