CYP17A1

mutation — cross-omics
Cross-omicsMUTATION → RNAPatientPairwise association · TCGA cohorts

Across TCGA patient cohorts, CYP17A1 mutation is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 1,590 significant associations in total. UCEC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible CYP17A1-associated genes across cancer lineages are PTP4A1P7, ZNF519P4, and CHEK1. Each is linked with CYP17A1 in more than 2 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both CYP17A1-to-partner and partner-to-CYP17A1 results are reported.

Each partner links to its own Q-omics profile. The box plot shows the strongest example, PTP4A1P7 grouped by CYP17A1-low versus CYP17A1-high in SKCM.

mutation associated genes by consensus

Ranked by combined sampling and lineage consensus. X-score (CYP17A1→partner) and Y-score (partner→CYP17A1) are standardized regression coefficients; both directions are reported because the association is undirected. p-values are from the association test.
