Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, CYB5R3 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated CYB5R3 data layer compared with 22 for mass-spec protein and 6 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in cervical squamous cell carcinoma and endocervical adenocarcinoma (CESC), where higher CYB5R3 Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated CYB5R3 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
CESC, SCLC, and HNSC are the cancer types where CYB5R3 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
