Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, CYB5R2 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated CYB5R2 data layer compared with 27 for mass-spec protein and 5 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in ovarian serous cystadenocarcinoma (OV), where higher CYB5R2 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated CYB5R2 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
OV, LIHC, and LUSC are the cancer types where CYB5R2 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
