Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, CXXC5 RNA is linked to patient survival in 25 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated CXXC5 data layer compared with 4 for mutation status and 3 for mass-spec protein.

The strongest signal is observed in uveal melanoma (UVM), where higher CXXC5 RNA is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated CXXC5 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as BRCA and SKCM show a favorable association.

UVM, MESO, and KIRP are the cancer types where CXXC5 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
