Across TCGA cell cohorts, CXCL8 RNA expression is significantly associated with the go_rna of many other GO terms, with 4,867 significant associations in total. SOFT_TISSUE shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible CXCL8-associated GO terms across cancer lineages are Regulation of cell adhesion molecule production, Negative regulation of cell adhesion molecule production, and Regulation of positive chemotaxis. Each is linked with CXCL8 in more than 16 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both CXCL8-to-partner and partner-to-CXCL8 results are reported.
