Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, CX3CR1 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated CX3CR1 data layer compared with 25 for mass-spec protein and 1 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in skin cutaneous melanoma (SKCM), where higher CX3CR1 Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated CX3CR1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
SKCM, READ, and LGG are the cancer types where CX3CR1 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
