Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, CWH43 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 8 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated CWH43 data layer compared with 17 for mass-spec protein and 1 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in esophageal carcinoma (ESCA), where higher CWH43 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated CWH43 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as SKCM show a favorable association.
ESCA, LUAD, and PAAD are the cancer types where CWH43 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
