Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, CUL4B RNA is linked to patient survival in 27 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated CUL4B data layer compared with 7 for mutation status and 6 for mass-spec protein.

The strongest signal is observed in kidney renal clear cell carcinoma (KIRC), where higher CUL4B RNA is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated CUL4B expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as KIRC and ACC show a favorable association.

KIRC, KIRP, and MESO are the cancer types where CUL4B RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
