Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, CTSV Mutation is linked to patient survival in 2 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated CTSV data layer compared with 30 for mass-spec protein and 3 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in lung adenocarcinoma (LUAD), where higher CTSV Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated CTSV expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as SKCM show a favorable association.
LUAD and SKCM are the cancer types where CTSV Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
