Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, CTSS Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated CTSS data layer compared with 26 for mass-spec protein and 4 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in colon adenocarcinoma (COAD), where higher CTSS Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated CTSS expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
COAD, PRAD, and UCEC are the cancer types where CTSS Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
