Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, CTSLP6 RNA differs between tumor and matched normal tissue in 6 of 18 cancer types tested, making tumor–normal expression one of CTSLP6’s most consistent transcriptional readouts.
The strongest signal is observed in kidney renal clear cell carcinoma (KIRC), where CTSLP6 RNA is repressed in tumor relative to normal tissue. In most cancer types CTSLP6 is over-expressed in tumor, although a few such as KIRC and KICH show the opposite, repressed pattern.
KIRC, KICH, and UCEC are the cancer types where CTSLP6 tumor–normal differential expression is most reproducible.
