Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, CTSD Mutation is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated CTSD data layer compared with 22 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in cervical squamous cell carcinoma and endocervical adenocarcinoma (CESC), where higher CTSD Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated CTSD expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
CESC, LGG, and CHOL are the cancer types where CTSD Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
