Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, CTSA Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated CTSA data layer compared with 21 for mass-spec protein and 3 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in lung squamous cell carcinoma (LUSC), where higher CTSA Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated CTSA expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
LUSC, DLBC, and UCEC are the cancer types where CTSA Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
