CTCF

mutation — cross-omics
Cross-omicsMUTATION → PROTEIN-RPPAPatientPairwise association · TCGA cohorts

Across TCGA patient cohorts, CTCF mutation is significantly associated with the total protein of many other genes, with 55 significant associations in total. UCEC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible CTCF-associated genes across cancer lineages are p27_pT157, Chk2_pT68, and 14-3-3_beta. Each is linked with CTCF in more than 1 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both CTCF-to-partner and partner-to-CTCF results are reported.

Each partner links to its own Q-omics profile. The box plot shows the strongest example, p27_pT157 grouped by CTCF-low versus CTCF-high in BRCA.

mutation associated genes by consensus

Ranked by combined sampling and lineage consensus. X-score (CTCF→partner) and Y-score (partner→CTCF) are standardized regression coefficients; both directions are reported because the association is undirected. p-values are from the association test.
