CTCF

mutation — cross-omics
Cross-omicsMUTATION → RNACell-linePairwise association · TCGA cohorts

Across TCGA cell cohorts, CTCF mutation is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 2,219 significant associations in total. LARGE_INTESTINE shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible CTCF-associated genes across cancer lineages are PPP6R2, RHBDD3, and CBX7. Each is linked with CTCF in more than 1 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both CTCF-to-partner and partner-to-CTCF results are reported.

Each partner links to its own Q-omics profile. The box plot shows the strongest example, PPP6R2 grouped by CTCF-low versus CTCF-high in LARGE_INTESTINE.

mutation associated genes by consensus

Ranked by combined sampling and lineage consensus. X-score (CTCF→partner) and Y-score (partner→CTCF) are standardized regression coefficients; both directions are reported because the association is undirected. p-values are from the association test.
