Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, CTBP2 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated CTBP2 data layer compared with 25 for mass-spec protein and 6 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in stomach adenocarcinoma (STAD), where higher CTBP2 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated CTBP2 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
STAD, KIRC, and SKCM are the cancer types where CTBP2 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
