Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, CT83 RNA is linked to patient survival in 19 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated CT83 data layer compared with 3 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in kidney chromophobe (KICH), where higher CT83 RNA is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated CT83 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as STAD and TGCT show a favorable association.

KICH, KIRP, and LIHC are the cancer types where CT83 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
