Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, CT55 RNA is linked to patient survival in 19 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated CT55 data layer compared with 2 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in skin cutaneous melanoma (SKCM), where higher CT55 RNA is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated CT55 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as SKCM and PAAD show a favorable association.

SKCM, PAAD, and COAD are the cancer types where CT55 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
