Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, CSMD2 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 6 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated CSMD2 data layer compared with 22 for mass-spec protein and 1 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in uterine corpus endometrial carcinoma (UCEC), where higher CSMD2 Mutation is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated CSMD2 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC and COAD show a favorable association.
UCEC, COAD, and THCA are the cancer types where CSMD2 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
