Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, CSF1R Mutation is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated CSF1R data layer compared with 20 for mass-spec protein and 4 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in adrenocortical carcinoma (ACC), where higher CSF1R Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated CSF1R expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
ACC, LUAD, and CESC are the cancer types where CSF1R Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
