Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, CSF1 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated CSF1 data layer compared with 19 for mass-spec protein and 6 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in adrenocortical carcinoma (ACC), where higher CSF1 Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated CSF1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
ACC, PRAD, and UCEC are the cancer types where CSF1 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
