Across TCGA patient cohorts, CSF1 protein abundance is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 3,972 significant associations in total. LUAD shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible CSF1-associated genes across cancer lineages are VSIG4, ITGAM, and FCGBP. Each is linked with CSF1 in more than 3 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both CSF1-to-partner and partner-to-CSF1 results are reported.
