Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, CSDC2 mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated CSDC2 data layer compared with 25 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in clear cell renal cell carcinoma (CCRCC), where higher CSDC2 mass-spec protein is associated with better overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated CSDC2 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as CCRCC and LUAD show a favorable association.
CCRCC, LUAD, and GBM are the cancer types where CSDC2 mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
