Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, CRYBB3 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated CRYBB3 data layer compared with 25 for mass-spec protein and 1 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in lymphoid neoplasm diffuse large b-cell lymphoma (DLBC), where higher CRYBB3 Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated CRYBB3 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
DLBC, COAD, and LUAD are the cancer types where CRYBB3 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
