Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, CRTC2 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 2 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated CRTC2 data layer compared with 23 for mass-spec protein and 4 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in skin cutaneous melanoma (SKCM), where higher CRTC2 Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated CRTC2 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as BLCA show a favorable association.
SKCM and BLCA are the cancer types where CRTC2 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
