Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, CREB5 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 6 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated CREB5 data layer compared with 24 for mass-spec protein and 3 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in uterine corpus endometrial carcinoma (UCEC), where higher CREB5 Mutation is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated CREB5 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC and SKCM show a favorable association.
UCEC, PAAD, and LUAD are the cancer types where CREB5 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
