Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, CRABP2 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated CRABP2 data layer compared with 24 for mass-spec protein and 5 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in sarcoma (SARC), where higher CRABP2 Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated CRABP2 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
SARC, LIHC, and UCEC are the cancer types where CRABP2 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
