Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, CRABP1 RNA is linked to patient survival in 26 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated CRABP1 data layer compared with 2 for mutation status and 5 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in uterine corpus endometrial carcinoma (UCEC), where higher CRABP1 RNA is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated CRABP1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as DLBC and THCA show a favorable association.
UCEC, DLBC, and CESC are the cancer types where CRABP1 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
