Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, CPT1B Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated CPT1B data layer compared with 27 for mass-spec protein and 2 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in breast invasive carcinoma (BRCA), where higher CPT1B Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated CPT1B expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
BRCA, UCEC, and COAD are the cancer types where CPT1B Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
