Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, CPNE9 RNA is linked to patient survival in 24 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated CPNE9 data layer compared with 2 for mutation status.
The strongest signal is observed in stomach adenocarcinoma (STAD), where higher CPNE9 RNA is associated with better overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated CPNE9 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as STAD and PAAD show a favorable association.
STAD, PAAD, and SKCM are the cancer types where CPNE9 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
