Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, CPN1 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated CPN1 data layer compared with 19 for mass-spec protein and 8 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSC), where higher CPN1 Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated CPN1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as COAD show a favorable association.
HNSC, SKCM, and LIHC are the cancer types where CPN1 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
