Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, CPD Mutation is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated CPD data layer compared with 21 for mass-spec protein and 6 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSC), where higher CPD Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated CPD expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as STAD show a favorable association.
HNSC, ESCA, and PRAD are the cancer types where CPD Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
