Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, CPB2 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated CPB2 data layer compared with 20 for mass-spec protein and 6 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSC), where higher CPB2 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated CPB2 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as SCLC show a favorable association.
HNSC, SKCM, and UCEC are the cancer types where CPB2 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
