Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, COX7B Mutation is linked to patient survival in 2 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated COX7B data layer compared with 26 for mass-spec protein and 5 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in stomach adenocarcinoma (STAD), where higher COX7B Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated COX7B expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
STAD and SKCM are the cancer types where COX7B Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
