Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, COX7A2L Mutation is linked to patient survival in 1 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated COX7A2L data layer compared with 23 for mass-spec protein and 4 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in bladder urothelial carcinoma (BLCA), where higher COX7A2L Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated COX7A2L expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
BLCA are the cancer types where COX7A2L Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
