Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, COX6CP14 RNA differs between tumor and matched normal tissue in 3 of 18 cancer types tested, making tumor–normal expression one of COX6CP14’s most consistent transcriptional readouts.

The strongest signal is observed in esophageal carcinoma (ESCA), where COX6CP14 RNA is more highly expressed in tumor relative to normal tissue. In most cancer types COX6CP14 is over-expressed in tumor.

ESCA, STAD, and LIHC are the cancer types where COX6CP14 tumor–normal differential expression is most reproducible.
