Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, COX6A2 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated COX6A2 data layer compared with 23 for mass-spec protein and 1 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in colon adenocarcinoma (COAD), where higher COX6A2 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated COX6A2 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
COAD, LIHC, and UCEC are the cancer types where COX6A2 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
