Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, COX6A1 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated COX6A1 data layer compared with 24 for mass-spec protein and 6 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in uterine corpus endometrial carcinoma (UCEC), where higher COX6A1 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated COX6A1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as BLCA show a favorable association.
UCEC, LGG, and LIHC are the cancer types where COX6A1 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
