Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, COX4I2 RNA is linked to patient survival in 26 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated COX4I2 data layer compared with 4 for mutation status and 3 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in uveal melanoma (UVM), where higher COX4I2 RNA is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated COX4I2 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as HNSC and MESO show a favorable association.
UVM, KIRP, and BLCA are the cancer types where COX4I2 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
