Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, COX4I2 mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated COX4I2 data layer compared with 26 for mass-spec protein and 4 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in lung squamous cell carcinoma (LSCC), where higher COX4I2 mass-spec protein is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated COX4I2 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.

LSCC, CCRCC, and LUAD are the cancer types where COX4I2 mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
